The Motu Trails Cycleway will be officially opened this month.
The opening had to be rescheduled after large slips blocked the Waioeka Gorge Rd on March 3. Now that the road has re-opened, organisers have decided to proceed with the event on May 20th.
The Motu Trails features four cycle networks, taking riders through a diverse range of landscapes, natural beauty and history. The trails boast spectacular views of the Pacific, panoramic views of the greater Eastern Bay of Plenty, beautiful bush-clad country with plenty of native birdlife and the magnificent Pakihi Stream.
